These workshops,
organized by CIJA US in cooperation with BIRN and Talks 2.0 aims to support
community leaders, civil society, independent media and technologists with online
communication strategies to effectively respond to online dangerous content in
their communities. With direct guidance and feedback, participants will leave
the workshop with practical ideas about how to carry their project ideas
forward.
Participants will also be provided with a project canvas
tool and campaign case studies that will be used for brainstorming and
recording ideas for key campaign or project components in advance of the
workshop. At the end of the second day, participants will have a draft project
plan that can be used as a reference point for project design and
implementation after the workshop.
The workshops will be held in,
- 18-19 May Macedonia (Skopje)
- 22-23 May Kosovo (Pristina)
- 25-26 May Albania (Tirana)
- 29 – 30 May Serbia (Belgrade)
- 1-2 June Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo)
Along with other trainers and resource persons from the
region and the specific countries, Sanjana will work with other internationally
acclaimed trainers versed in online CVE/PVE strategies to leave behind a corpus
of knowledge, including tools, techniques, presentations and frameworks for
strategic response that can help strengthen in-country projects, organizations
and individuals.
