PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY PROGRAMME PRODUCES FIRST BATCH OF LAWYERS… AS ANOTHER 29 DELEGATES ARE EXPECTED IN NOVEMBER

Five beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, were among one thousand three hundred and ninety (1390) successful candidates in the April 2017 Bar Final examinations being called to Bar by the Body of Benchers at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, last Thursday, while 29 other delegates currently in Law School are expected to be called to bar in the next batch in November 2017. The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brig-Gen. Paul Boroh (Rtd), has enjoined youths in the Niger Delta region to resist distractions and face every challenge that comes their way on their march to greatness. Speaking at the batch B graduation ceremony of 200 Niger Delta Ex-agitators who graduated from their nine months intensive automobile course in automobile manufacturing , engineering and maintenance at Innoson-Kiara Academy, Nnewi in Anambra state on Friday(September 29, 2017), Gen. Amnesty Reintegrates 220 Ex-Militants in Aquaculture

Amnesty Reintegrates 220 Ex-Militants in Aquaculture (fish farming). The Presidential Amnesty Programme is reintegrating 220 ex-militants in Aquaculture (fish farming) in Patani, Delta State. The beneficiaries are to be empowered within the next one week to enable them sustainably integrate back into society. The beneficiaries, in a group of twenty two each are being given a total of 420, 000 fingerlings to start this great and sustainable aquaculture project. The Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brigadier General Paul Boroh who disclosed this in Abuja at the weekend said “ This great, interesting and exciting project is in line with the objectives of the Federal Government to diversify the economy and make the country food self- sufficient. The aquaculture fish farm project in Patani, is designed to meet part of the protein needs of the people in the Niger Delta and is itself a pilot project.
